This could be promising.... Tom Jane is gonna star in a period werewolf movie!
The Jane says: "I’m doing a werewolf movie called, 'The Lycan,' which is a gothic werewolf romance set in the late 1700s. It’s fuckin’ cool. It’s basically 'Alien,' set in a castle, with werewolves."
Sounds great to me. But on a side note, am I the only one who doesn't like the term 'lycan' as a contraction of lycanthrope? I think it's cos it sounds exactly like 'lichen', hardly the scariest or most exiting organism.....

Doesn't sound too shabby. Looking forward to seeing a trailer maybe or some werewolf designs. Let's hope the romance bit doesn't turn it into an adult Twilight.

You're not the only one, Keywolf. 'Lycan' needs to stay in the UNDERWORLD series.

Not sure if the phrase "It’s basically 'Alien,' set in a castle, with werewolves" and the word Romance should go together. Let hope it is more Alien than Twilight.

They need to give us a movie that lives up to the old classics like AWIL. The last decent WW movie was dog soldiers , No sentiment , No teenage angst just bloodthirsty monsters doing thier thing in a brutal & bestial fashion........Basically this is what we want..see below pic !!!
