So this is said to be the "reboot" of the Wolfman 2010 remake. Currently in Pre-production, written by Michael Tabb, directed by Louis Morneau, and its looking like a straight to dvd release. This should be interesting, a remake of a remake, Nice One!

A remake of a remake? That seems pretty special. Got any links to stuff about it?

Eh, so so. I wasnt to impressed. When you get too cheap and/or lazy to used real animals in a movie you kinda loose my interest.

The CGI whoring in the film amazed me. Really? A CGI bear?
Still, it had one of the best werewolves in put on film and they really knew how to show him off. Better than those CGI pukes from The Twilight Saga and Red Riding Hood. I won't even get into the Van Helsing wereballoons

Fenirsson has a link to a fantastic letter sent by a disgruntled twilight fan to the studios about how the Wolfman remake was a rip of of twilight! If he would be nice enough to post the link up here.

If he would be nice enough to post the link up here. I've read that. Pretty much sums up everything wrong with the Twilight fanbase in a few short paragraphs. The best reactions however, came from the Goldenwolf fan base. They reminded me of disgruntled Geewuners. "WULF NOT MUNKY!" I loled, their butthurt made the movie that much more entertaining.

Because I'm such a nice guy, the absolutely hilarious letter can be found through this elegant and finely-crafted link: what ho, good sir! I laughed my ass off the first time I saw it.

I just kind of stared at it for a while. Partially because I was horrified due to the simple fact that none of it was at all surprising to me.

Lots more info on this one, but it still doesn't have a title......
Has started filming in Bucharest (cool), will go straight to DVD next Halloween, so we should be seeing this one in exactly a year.
Official (long) synopsis:
A monstrous creature terrorizes a 19th Century European village by moonlight and a young man struggles to protect his loved ones from an unspeakable scourge in Untitled Werewolf Thriller, Universal Studios' all-new addition to its time-honored legacy of supernatural thrillers. During his studies with the local doctor (Stephen Rea), Daniel (Guy Wilson) witnesses the horrific consequences of werewolf attacks. Watching as the beast's fearsome reputation draws bounty hunters, thrill seekers and charlatans to the tiny town, Daniel dreams of destroying the ruthless predator. So when a mysterious stranger (Ed Quinn) and his team of skilled werewolf hunters (Stephen Bauer, Adam Croasdell) arrive to pursue the monster, he offers to join them, despite his mother's (Nia Peeples) protests. But it soon becomes clear that this creature is stronger, smarter and more dangerous than anything they have faced before. As casualties mount and villagers see their neighbors transformed into ravening monsters, the townsfolk take up arms against each other to find the true identity of the werewolf. Amid the hysteria, Daniel begins to suspect he's closer to his target than he ever dreamed.'
'Louis Morneau (THE HITCHER 2, JOYRIDE 2) is directing the Untitled Werewolf Thriller from a screenplay by Michael Tabb, Morneau and Catherine Cyran. In addition to the names mentioned above, it stars Rachel DiPillo and Guy Hunter.'

The storyline doesn't sound like anything new. So hoping the acting and effects will be good.
