The Boy Who Cried Werewolf (1973)

Happened to catch this (well, most of it) on the local THIS TV affiliate. Realized I hadn't seen it before and decided to toss up a thread for it.

Pretty much your typical 'boy's dad is bitten by werewolf, changes during the full moon but doesn't remember it, no one believes boy's story' movie. You know how these things go.

Not a lot to recommend it beyond the groovy 70s fashion and some hippy Jesus-freaks thrown in the mix. And a particularly goofy looking werewolf that I think has been made fun of in another thread.

But of course I'm glad I saw it and would still get a copy if I could snag one cheap.

Absolutely worst werewolf I've ever seen though is the one in the original Boy who Cried Werewolf from the 1970's.



I want you to look at this picture and realize that someone actually put this into a horror movie.

Look at this stupid thing. Just look at it. Now I want you to imagine it tearing ass across the forest ripping scantily clad teenage bimbos to pieces. Bitch slapping the heads off of vampires, or rampaging through London as people scream and flee in mortal terror from this stupid looking bastard. Tell me that's not the funniest damn mental image you've had today. It's a wretched looking, damn goofy werewolf from a goofy movie from the seventies. It's a design hilarious in its ineptitude. I love it.

I have learned from years of hunting and being one with nature that just because something is cute doesnt make it friendly. Raccoons are cute, but damn they are mean as hell. So yea I would be cautious around that too Werewolf.

It doesn't even look friendly. It looks downright retarded. This is why I like it so much.
