Just got back from watching Cowboys and Aliens with my friends. Have to say, it was a disappointment. I wasn't expecting much, but when I left the theatre I felt like I'd seen a Scifi Original.
There's a couple of cool action sequences and a few neat parts, but overall it's just dumb. And not fun dumb. I mean things like "the aliens have 4 arms, but to use 2 of them they have to EXPOSE ALL THEIR VITAL ORGANS" dumb.
I give it 1 howl.

Was hoping it would be a fun film, that didn't take itself serious.
Talking about sci-fi versions, did anyone see the sci-fi version of this film?
or does anyone know anything about the Cowboys vs Zombies or Cowboys vs Vampires films?

and i was expecting more seeing it a spielberg movie with harrison ford and daniel craig in it... but harrison ford doesn't do bad movies  some are just less good |

I enjoyed cowboys vs aliens. Thought the cowboys were nicely grounded, to off-set the sci-fi nature of the aliens. Harison Ford and Daniel Crag did excellent in there parts. And the humour they put in it helped glue it all together.

So far I could put the following films in such a sub-collectoin
Cowboys vs Aliens - speaks for itself
Tremors Prequal - cowboys vs graboids
Undead and Alive - cowboys vs zombies
The Warriors Way - cowboys vs ninjas
