New supernatural series, started last Wednesday here in England called The Fade (it's on BBC 3 I think).
It basically revolves around the premise that when you die you either ascend or end up stuck on earth for all time. Those stuck on earth are called the Fade. The Fade cannot interact with the real world in any way, and this over time causes them to hate the living who can.
It seems the series starts after one of these Fade have learned to punch through and effect the real world in more stronger ways each time, and once he crosses over completely, he'll show the rest of the Fade how to do it too, and presto - end of the world. A small group are trying to stop him.
The story seems to center on a teenager who has visions in his sleep of the future, where everything is ash.
The 1st episode wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either. It has a lot of potential and I'm hopeful it'll be a good series, especially if they keep the spooky level high.
