Picked this up yesterday. Apparently, the guy who runs my local comic shop knows one of the creators. "THIRTEEN STEPS "Semi-pro baseball player Justin Ullrich has a problem: he's a werewolf and he wants to talk, but nobody's listening. Not his Mother, Priest, stoner pal, or his ex, the succubus. So where does a monster with bloodlust issues go? He enters a twelve step self-help program, of course! But instead of finding answers he finds himself swept up in the identity politics of the monster set. Justin falls in with a commune of non-aggressive werewolves who teach him the secrets of controlling his "wolfstate", but soon learns their idyllic lifestyle has a hidden dark side. He also continues to work the 13 step program. The next step? Restitution! How do you apologize for biting a guy's arm off?!" It's not bad. The interior art is kinda sketchy, and it's black and white, but the guy's exploring territory I was thinking about writing about. My idea was more of a werewolf help clinic, though. www.desperado.lightcubed.com/TITLES/ThirteenSteps.htm
