Came across this movie, set to release in 2012.

"Transplanted to Mars, a Civil War vet discovers a lush planet inhabited by 12-foot tall barbarians. Finding himself a prisoner of these creatures, he escapes, only to encounter a princess who is in desperate need of a savior."

If I had to sum it up, I'd say 'Conan with spaceships'.

Looks like it may be a reasonable film depending on the acting.

If they were 12 foot tall barbarian women it might be a live action remake of the Futurama episode where they crash land of the planet with the huge amazonian women.

I love the John Carter series, I hope the movie lives up to them.

Let's hope the actors are good. I am getting disappointed with acting again. Why don't people read their scripts and get into the characters anymore?
