Trying to remember a movie..

My fiance and I are sitting here trying to remember either a movie, made for cable movie, or tv episode(s) that had shifters in it that could go from human to wolf and back, at will.

The main gist of the story is a girl gone to school, left town, comes with a boyfriend and they talk about getting married and the family objects to the boyfriend. At first the don't say why they object other then being clannish and saying the usual "You were meant to stay here and marry someone!" mentality. Upon telling the male character what she is, she eludes that if anyone found out what they were, they would be taken out. She also goes to tell the boyfriend that they are not like the werewolves in the movies and are not evil killers not in control.

My fiance seems to remember him not marrying the girl and tells her he won't tell anyone about them cause who would believe him anyway!

If this sounds familiar at all, please tell me. This is bothering the heck out of me cause it seems so darned familiar! LOL I will probably know it when I see a name but who knows...

I've heard of that film. I remember reading up the description before, possibly on this site's database I think.

Well, if it's the one I'm thinking of than it's not Blood an Chocolate - though that is a similar storyline.

I'm also thinking it's not the one where the village turns into wolfhounds either. Though again there are similarities.

Tried to do some google searches, but stupid Twilight keeps getting in the way!! grrrr!

I've not yet seen Blood and Chocolate but that does sound like the plot line. If they definately turned into wolves as opposed to quadraped werewolves, etc then i think it probably was Blood and Chocolate.

hey djwolfdude, does this description fit the movie? i'm also looking for it if that's the case

"i was looking for a movie and i cant remember the plot too well...
it's about a woman who drives home with her boyfriend or husband to visit her family, and he goes out for a walk at night and i think he falls (or was attacked) and she goes looking for him with a flashlight and finds him laying in the leaves on the ground.
i cant remember it too well, i'm sorry... it has a young deputy/sheriff in it too who is a family friend and she has a brother, i think.
i'm not sure but i think that her family are werewolves () and there's a rival werewolf family...or they were keeping the peace but the others arent.
that's what i remember i think she was blonde
hope somebody recognizes that movie"
