Apparently in a German film magazine Uwe Boll stated his intention to buy the 'Dog Soldiers' franchise. His intention to remake 'Dog Soldiers'(!) He apparently is quoted as saying "It's [been] ten years already. Time for a remake". When asked what he would change he said he would make it more of a "screwball comedy" and would add other supernatural elements "...because I don't think werewolves is enough anymore. Is there any film that could not be improved by adding Zombies?"
I don't know whether to laugh or cry? Maybe both at the same time?

Just curious, did anyone actually believe this? I figured after 'A Muppet Werewolf In London' I would never be believed a second time. I would have left the joke going for longer but felt bad. It seemed funny at the time...I promise not to do it again!

You would have got me with that one, if I'd seen the original post before your confession was added. What can I say? I'm too gullable. Trouble is, such remake ideas are very possible these days. Hell, give it another 5-10 years and they'll probably want to remake Shaun of the Dead without the humour.
Anyway, your a very naughty puppy, and if you do it again, you'll get hit with a rolled up newspaper on your nose!

LOL 'Shaun OF The Dead' without the comedy. Nothing would surprise me. A humourous version of '28 Days Later'? Why am I suddenly seeing potential? Anyway, your a very naughty puppy, and if you do it again, you'll get hit with a rolled up newspaper on your nose! That should have been Patrick Troughton's character's punishment for failing his master Dracula in 'Scars Of Dracula' (instead of the hot poker/sword). ;D |

Poor Patrick, plays Who for 3 years and how do they thank him? Let's have Christopher Lee torture him with a red hot sword!

Yup when i read it at first i thought "HOW F**KING DARE HE!" Sadly its believable because they will literally remake anything! Mind you Dog Soldiers is one of my favourites so anything remotely related to people messing with this film instantly makes me mad!
