I know Noel has started a thread on the main site about his experience in playing a werewolf in Skyrim, and I do recommend everyone to go read it, as it's taken from the perspective of the character and is an enjoyable read.
My own character I've been playing in Skyrim is a female dark-elf rogue, who kind of fell into becoming a werewolf. Many due to greed and fear.
You see, she joined the companions, as a means for free board, access to training, and of course access to the skyforge! So when she was told of another forge, a secret forge (secret = Mundo Big Magic Items!! Yippeee!! - or at least that's what she thought) She jumped at the chance to gain access.
That's when it went wrong. For the 'forge' wasn't what she was expecting, and as there was a great big werewolf stood next to her and no where to run in the cave, how could she possible turn them down when they made the offer. . .
It is a great deal of fun playing a werewolf in Skyrim, especially if you have the dawnguard DLC to add the werewolf ability tree so you can improve your werewolf powers, and a certain Ring makes a big difference.

I still find it hard to believe that Skyrim only came out about a year and a half ago. I feel like I've spent half my life playing it. It's probably the best computer game ever made in my opinion, or undoubtedly in the top three ...
The werewolf content is a very nice bonus.

I'm a bit crap with computer games. One of those people who spends half the game walking against a wall because i can't work the controls to turn out. My partner bought Borderlands 2 as it was multiplayer and we could play together. I actually got stuck behind an unmoving object which opened up to reveal weaponry, etc. Your supposed to open it from the front but somehow i walked behind and once it was opened there was no way to get back. Took me ages to convince my other half that i was genuinely stuck and not just truly crap at the game. In the end we had to restart it..... Not my finest hour!
But really want to be a werewolf in Skyrim!

When I become a werewolf in skyrim I must admit the main plot went out the window and I spent a lot of time terrorising village and towns. I really should get back to playing it and progress the storyline.
There's just something fun about eating hearts to extend the duration of the transformation.

It would have done for me too Marcus. I'd definitely have visited the villages and killed stuff.

I am ashamed to admit it, but I chased a rabbit . . . yes yes I know, a rabbit! . . . oh how the werewolf elders would shake their heads in shame.
But it was just so juicy and plump and skippy!! I just had to catch it.

Noel, I don't know if you've seen this, but there is a mod for skyrim that gives you the ability to break locks by attacking/hitting them.
As picking locks is impossible in werewolf form, this could be a nice little add-on to have, so you don't get stuck every time you find a locked door. There's also one that lets you loot corpses after feeding (that's a bit metagaming, but would save loads of backtracking).
There are some other mods that do a lot more for the werewolf, ones that give more perks to learn, others that let you wear armour, use weapons, access your inventory, gain a stamina/health boost during moonrise (8pm-4am). But a lot of those seem to be rather over-the-top.
