New Moon on New Years Day will be a SuperMoon
A Supermoon is “a new or full moon which occurs with the moon at or near (within 90% of) its closest approach to Earth.”

A full Supermoon happened last year on the Summer Solstice. This one happens on New Years Day and is a new moon. In another thread I talked about a hypothetical anti-werewolf creature that came out on the New Moon. If there is anything to symbolism, this could be an anti-werewolf Superevent.
