Sequel to Trick 'r Treat has been announced. "At the October 29th, 2013 special fan screening of the cult horror classic TRICK ‘R TREAT hosted by Legendary, the film’s iconic character, Sam, and director, Michael Dougherty, stole the show by announcing a sequel during the Q&A session. Other panel participants included two of the film's stars Dylan Baker and Brian Cox, as well as a surprise appearance by producer Bryan Singer." www.movieweb.com/movie/trick-r-treat-2No idea if they'll be werewolves but we can hope  |

My demented brain has coughed up a fantasy about a werewolf flash mob at the opening protesting the lack of werewolves in the movie.

Can't wait for the sequel. I just LOVE Trick 'r Treat. Wonderful fun. It gets watched every Halloween along with John Carpenter's Halloween without fail. Love the werewolves in it. Cute girls, if a bit hairy. But ooh, what big... teeth they have!  |

I loved Trick 'r Treat so I'm in for the sequel no matter what. If there's werewolves in it again that'd be icing on the delicious blood-spattered cake though!

At this point, don't this we'll get a sequel. 😞 A couple of years back, Dougherty said that he wanted to get back to the TrT sequel after he was finished with Godzilla. Then he got involved in Godzilla vs. Kong, scheduled for release late this year. Considering that this will be the 36th Godzilla movie and the 12th Kong movie, the sequels could just keep coming. The question is whether Dougherty will follow his heart or stay in big paycheck giant monster land forever. |
