I like Don Glut's stuff. Really. I've still got some of his old Dr. Spektor comics. He did the novelization of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK and some of the STAR WARS comics. He's written books, movies, cartoons, comics...everything.
In recent years, he's done several fun, 'Skinemax' movies, raised above the usual t&a fare due to his love of the classic monsters. The MUMMY'S KISS movies, DINOSAUR VALLEY GIRLS (his other great love is paleontology), SCARLET COUNTESS...stuff like that.
So when he started talking about his 'female werewolf movie,' I was duly stoked.
One thing he's not so great at is crowdfunding.
At least two attempts to get the werewolf movie going failed. He ended up getting the financing anyways thru more regular channels so 'Yay!' the movie is getting made. He currently has another crowdfunding attempt going in an effort to get more money to make a better movie. A laudable goal, and he seems really committed to making this as good as he possibly can.
Unfortunately, he hasn't really learned anything about how to have a successful campaign. I and others tried to tell him the importance of decent, low-value perks, but, well....
It's not too late if you want to toss in some money. If you're like me and like the low-budget, exploitation movies I'm pretty sure this one will be a good 'bad' werewolf movie.

Figured I'd mention he's giving it another go. The movie is in production but of course, with low budget films like this, any extra cash they can get helps.

The Indiegogo campaign has officially ended and he only raised a pittance.

Yeah, that's why he keeps trying. I think this is at least his fourth run at it.
He's had a few people (myself included) try and tell him the reward levels were way too high and he finally made some minor adjustments to the latest campaign, but wouldn't change too much because he didn't feel it would be fair to the ones who contributed previously.

There were people who paid those prices??? Not on the indiegogo campaign they did not.

Well, the perks still aren't great for what he's asking for them, but he has added a couple of test pictures in case anyone wants to check 'em out.
