Proboards did this? I liked the old moon theme better, also the old default font. Although the larger display is good. But where do I see if I have messages?

Hmm yes, it seems they did. I'll see what I can do in terms of customising it.
I see a tab for "Messages" on the panel at the top.

I see the moon is back.  I see the Messages tab now too. Everything else is OK. I can even live with the Times New Roman despite it reminding me of churning out endless memos at work.  |

Just noticed that the number of threads and posts jumped up considerably since the change. And the roll smiley I was going to use seems to be gone.

I'm away for a couple of weeks and there's a whole new look to the boards!
Looks like I've rather a lot of catching up to do.
Must admit I'm not keen on where the background of some of the posts are blue.

Must admit I'm not keen on where the background of some of the posts are blue. When Proboards sprung this on us without warning, Noel had to do a bunch of work to even get it this far. There are things about the new look I like but others I do not like. Such as the alternating black/blue backgrounds to distinguish posts. |

What has happened to the Exalt or Smite karma ratings? It's just disappeared.

What has happened to the Exalt or Smite karma ratings? It's just disappeared. There is a Like button. (But no corresponding Gladiator Dies button.) As you said the ratings do not show, so is that like an Exalt for the poster or a Like for the post? |

I also prefer Exalt and wanted to give one to Noel for his great work on his 100 Years thread. If I am reading the documentation right, Exalt is not a native function of Proboards but a Plug In. Perhaps it is not compatible with the new level of Proboards or causes problems. I spent many years ( far too many ) as a computer geek, um, professional and I understand all too well the Second Law of Wormodynamics: When you open a can of worms, it always takes a bigger can to put them back. |

Don't forget the bigger can also had a tendancy to explode worms in unexpected moments for no apparent reason. |
