The body suits look incredible, but the faces are ugly as sin. Works for the movie I guess- they wanted to keep them looking kind of human. Been quite a while since I have been here. I have not yet seen Howl but the stills in IMDB remind me of Klingons crossbred with Orcs. www.imdb.com/title/tt2393827/mediaindex?ref_=tt_pv_mi_sm

Liked the nods to Dog Soldiers and The Descent. The Director handled the Creature/Make Up efx for both films, also Doomsday. Paul Hyett. Paul Hyett has got a lot of credits under his belt. www.imdb.com/name/nm0404931/?ref_=tt_ov_dr

Howl was a pleasant surprise, quite underrated IMHO.

I checked it out. BTW your link did not work for me. But this one did. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScBhiVHf2ncNot bad at all. I sort of knew from the beginning when the characters were introduced that this was going to be a 'last girl' movie and who it would be. But I liked the way the 'hero does not make it' got resolved. Oh, and thanks for the recommendation.

Hi arclight! It has been a while. Are you hanging out or just breezing through? I guess if people start showing up and sticking around I'll try and be here. The end of the year is normally one of major overtime so it might just be hit-n-run type stuff. Maybe I'll at least clean the place up and move a bunch of these threads out of the 'upcoming' section since most have long since been released.

Maybe I'll at least clean the place up and move a bunch of these threads out of the 'upcoming' section since most have long since been released. I am retired and have not that many commitments, although there are some. I have made the rounds of forums involving a wide variety of my eclectic interests and have either run out of things to say on them or seen them degenerate into all too personal argumentation. So here I am again for the foreseeable future. In between movies, music, reading and those various obligations related to staying alive, that is. Concerning cleaning up, the Howl thread led to I think an interesting conversation and of course introducing me to a werewolf movie I had never seen, thanks to silverbullet. So maybe give siverbullet a chance to maybe say something new about one or more of them?

I didn't mean delete anything, just shift (so to speak) them over to the 'Werewolf Movie Comments' side since they're no longer 'Upcoming.'
