Now i know we had a thread back in 2007 about a movie with the same name but i think this is different so having had a look at the previous thread and noticed that the imdb link and one other is no longer active i've decided to start a new thread. The previous thread can be viewed here: werewolfmovies.proboards.com/thread/359/howlSo this is apparently werewolves on a train! No word yet on whether Samuel L Jackson will be involved but the premise is that a group of werewolves attack a midnight train forcing the shy ticket collector to unleash his inner beast. Other than that there's not much information on it. Shooting is due to begin in May and we can only hope that the werewolves won't be terrible CGI monsters. This is the link i found, hopefully we'll find more information soon: www.fangoria.com/new/cast-boards-werewolf-on-a-train-film-howl/

Mother blanking werewolves on a mother blanking train! Maybe he will spout Bible verses before spraying the beasts with silver bullets. I hope he does not get dragged into the next car and eaten right after giving a dramatic pep talk. Seriously tho, this could be interesting. Anyway it is not Jackson but Christopher Walken who shows up in every movie ever made.

Not familiar with any of the cast mentioned to be honest. But that's not a bad thing, always nice to see new faces and talent. Looking forward to seeing what may become of this and cannot wait to see some designs for the werewolves.
I like the design of the posters as well Keywolf, didn't give too much away. Very subtle.
I'm told that Joe Hill (son of Stephen King) wrote a short story very similar to this if anyone fancies it? I don't think the movie is based on the story from what i've read so far but might be worth checking out if you can find a copy. I believe its called Wolverton Station and was published in Subterranean: Tales of Dark Fantasy 2..... I think.

Could be fun. Will be interesting to see the path they take the movie along.
And I also like the poster.

No time for a proper review, but I liked it. It's no Dog Soldiers, but I'd give it a pretty solid 7/10.

The body suits look incredible, but the faces are ugly as sin. Works for the movie I guess- they wanted to keep them looking kind of human.

Liked the nods to Dog Soldiers and The Descent.
The Director handled the Creature/Make Up efx for both films, also Doomsday.
Paul Hyett.
