This TV show has just started in the UK on Watch. It's going to be dealing with the supernatural and in the opening credits there was a brief glimpse of what will hopefully be a werewolf. So far we've seen Vampires. First episode was okay. Most of the action took place in the dark so it sometimes hard to make things out but i'm hopeful this could be a really good show.
Anyone else seen it yet?

Yep. Seen up to and inc. ep 3. Loving it. Dark, gothic, gory, sexy, literate Victorian horror from the makers of Skyfall and The Orphanage. The 1st ep was good but the fun really starts in ep 2. No actual werewolves yet but certain clues in ep 2 and 3 lead me to believe that one of the main characters may turn a bit hairy on occasion. Plus ep 3 sees the great Alun Armstrong acting opposite Rory Kinnear who is playing a famous literary horror creation. Both of them are stupendously good. This could quickly become my new favourite show.
BTW - It's on Sky Atlantic in the UK (It's a Showtime/Sky co-production).

I recorded it, planning on watching it sometime this week, as soon as I can free up an hour spare.
Did a quick search to see if the great and powerful google could confirm werewolves or not. Came across a couple of mentions, but not anything definitive. Didn't do too much, as don't want to find any actual spoilers, just a mention of 'werewolf'.

Really enjoying this series so far. Victorian London is one of my favourite settings, especially for fantasy horror. So far it reminds me a little of the recent Dracula series with John Rhys Meyers, but a lot better.
Fingers crossed for some werewolf content of course, but personally I'm really hoping for an appearance from a regular from the old penny dreadfuls- Spring Heeled Jack!

Yup. Last ep of the current series confirmed that one of the main characters is indeed a werewolf. According to the show's creator John Logan in series 2 we will find out how this person became a werewolf and under what circumstances. Great show. Bring on season 2.

Loved it. Bring on Series 2 and hopefully a lot more werewolf action. And thank goddess it is actually getting a second series, too many tv shows lately seem to be coming to an end after just one series.

Necroing another thread
Just finished season 1. Good action of all kinds, twists, complexities, surprises, multiple cliffhangers but enough resolutions to keep you happy. I liked how the final episode sets up the cliff hangers, but does not end instantly. Instead it slides out in a more thoughtful (and chilling) manner. Will take a break with some movies and dive back in to season 2.

I am in Season 2 and am having a problem with watching. I cannot find anything wrong with acting or plot or FX etc. In fact those are all quite good. I just keep finding myself wishing it would move on faster. This is due mainly to me, not the program. As I think I mentioned once before, I have significant pain issues. These are currently acting up and with the major crackdown on doctors writing opiate scrips and my intolerance of NSAIDs, I have limited options for control. Anything that requires thoughtful consideration or much brain work of any sort is difficult. So I guess it is B movie binging for the rime being.

Finished up Season 3. Good stuff and nice wrapup. This is where it should end. To go further would likely have fallen short of expectations.

Since I'm suddenly on a 'staycation' for (I hope only) two weeks, I'll have to finally watch the third season. I've had the Blu-ray set for a while now.
