Can't see this listed anywhere on this site. Turns out there's a THIRD werewolf movie showing at Frightfest this year! A low-budget horror western (filmed in Kent!). There's a good little interview with the director on this site, which also has the trailer at the bottom. I got my ticket for it already so I'll let you know how what I thought after it screens on Monday..... www.youvegotredonyou.com/#!blood-moon/c1kfy

This looks like an interesting concept, different enough to inject some welcome novelty. Hope it lives up to expectations. I especially hope the creature turns out good. Seven foot man in an eight and a half foot monster suit could be really scary. But if the creature looks silly, it could be 'monstrously' bad. BTW here is a fixed url: www.youvegotredonyou.com/#blood-moon/c1kfy

It wasn't bad, a little above average. Interesting to see a low budget horror western filmed in England. Main problems were a silly sub-plot with a sheriff and a Navajo lady that had no pay-off; a slightly anti-climactic ending; and most importantly the werewolf had WAY too little screen time. A pity as it looked good and featured prominently on the (excellent) poster! Highlight below for some mildly spoilery details on the beast:
There's two werewolves in the movie. The main antagonist is a big, powerful looking monster that's all practical, man-in-a-suit. It's a pretty good suit from what little we see of it. A good, slightly AWIL-looking long, wolfy face with big splayed fangs. Fairly standard looking bodysuit with stilted (yay) legs, the main difference being it's more muscular than usual, with wide shoulders.
There's also a half-werewolf, for no clear reason. After a brief transformation scene it's only on screen for a bit. More of a wolf-man look about this one. It sounds like they cut out a lot of stuff in the editing room- I would have lost this whole scene.
There's 2 transformation scenes, both brief. One is the wolf-person, looks like a mix of CGI and practical; then we get a reverse transformation from the main werewolf. CGI and not so good, but it's a low budget movie.
Overall I'd say give it a go, it's a pleasant enough watch, and I have a soft spot for cross genre movies (as long as one of them is horror!). I'd give it maybe 6/10.
DVD is out sometime next year, hopefully there'll be extras as it sounds like they cut a ton of werewolf scenes out.

Sounds promising. I'll keep an eye out for it.
