Sorry 'bout that. Got my wires crossed. Happens a lot when we're working these holiday hours around here.

I watched it on Prime. Not bad at all for a micro-budget production. Acting was reasonable if not great, which actually helped credibility as it made it seem like real ordinary people. Wisely the script did not call for any terrific thespian efforts. Dialog was decent and not the stupid stuff sometimes found in cheapies that try too hard. Camera work was rather good as well. Production values, while obviously budget minded, were surprisingly good. Counting the days with sometimes fairly brief but important material in between was a nice way of moving on without constantly worrying about how to fill in the in-betweens. Main complaint was the rather odd transformation scene and the overall creature look. But mileage varies in that department. As you said, the sound was rather iffy. I turned on subtitles as well. But then I often do because these ears are genuine antiques. I loved the gore shots during the opening credits, although they have nothing to do with the movie. Also, the bit after the closing credits that wraps around to the beginning and explains a couple of things. Overall a good enjoyable werewolf movie. Better than some other junk that cost a lot more to make.

I watched Bride of the Werewolf on Prime. This was referenced upstream.
Um ...... what?
Too bad it was not a vampire movie because it really sucks. I do not even know where to begin, so I won't.
I suspect it was to some extent a spoof, referencing old horror movies here and there. But those references and the over the top dialog that accompany them just fall flat.
And yes, Mel Heflin is in it. Bigger than ever, if not better.
