The Monster 2016

Not a werewolf movie but close. I was not expecting much but I was wrong. Nice scary claustrophobic tale, enriched by flashbacks to make the main characters 3D and not just cardboard. Just the right amount of jump scares and not a Lewton bus among them. Enough gore to be satisfying but not so much as to overwhelm. The movie is about being scared in the dark. The monster is slowly revealed and is scary enough. Good ending that ties the monster theme together. You got to see the movie to understand that.
