If that sounds like a funny title for a werewolf movie, you are right. This is a comedy from beginning to end. Don’t worry, there is a real werewolf and it really rips a number of people apart. But the movie is chock full of humor, mostly lowbrow but still funny. That it takes place while a zombie movie is being made adds to the humor. The plot is actually quite well and intricately constructed, although zany things happen along the way. Just suspend that disbelief, go with the flow and enjoy.
There are a number of brief references to An American Werewolf in London here and there. Not essential to anything, just in-jokes.
