Need Help indenifying a werewolf movie

Hello,

I need some help figuring out a movie that I remember seeing when I was young - sometime around 87-89, if I remember correctly. My baby-sitter put it on for us (looking back she may have mistaken this movie with a funny were-wolf movie like teen wolf....) The scene I remember seeing took place in a parking lot - there was a couple in a car, that get attacked by a werewolf. Another scene I remember, which I think is the same movie, is the werewolf asking someone to tie him up in a garage or something like that.....

This is how I remember it - but we are talking about an almost 20 year old memory. Does this sound like a movie that someone can please identify for me?

It was not, Silver Bullet, The Howling, an old black and white movie, or American Werewolf in London.....

Thanks for the welcome - and thanks for the responses - I checked out the site - I really think that is it! The timeframe sounds right - and the fact it aired on Saturday nights (a night we would have had a babysitter...) I so wish it was available to rent/watch...... I had nightmares and could not sleep in the dark for YEARS after this...... I remember it was her idea (the babysitter) to watch the movie, and then wanted to turn it off once she realized how scary it was, but I wanted to watch it anyway...... I just will always remember the parts I saw as the scariest movie I had ever seen, even to this day.... So I guess I wanted to re-watch again for the first time in 20 years, the first step finding out what the heck it was that I watched in the first place......

That sounds right, I clearly remember the scene where the main character's friend is tied up.

I did get a copy of the series off ebay, someone had copied from tv onto DVD. It wasn't a bad copy, if you don't find buying thatn type of thing.
