Low budget high school werewolf story. Somewhat entertaining if flawed in a number of ways.
The 'high school students' look more like the parents of high school students. Couldn't they find any kids that would work cheap? Camera work is run of the mill. Acting is rather amateurish. Dialog is not great. (The descriptions of the student's programs in computer class are just ludicrous. Can't movies ever get computers right?) There are far too many characters, making it hard to get enthused about any of them. The movie is too long (97 minutes) with sections that just drag. Back in the heyday of B+W horror movies, they knew that a 'one idea' low budget movie should not be longer than 65-75 minutes.
The werewolf reveal is relatively slow, not given in full until near the end and even then mostly in the dark. Good thing since it is not a great werewolf - a hairy suit and a Halloween mask from Walmart. There is a transformation scene that is passable if not great. Unfortunately the style invites comparison with AWIL, compared to which it suffers greatly. The clawed hairy hand we see in the kill sequences is probably the best part of it. But not much gore and that is always shown in the dark.
Be advised. This movie features a bunch of 1980s type metal music courtesy of the not very good group of high school kids. The leader of the group seems to be trying to do Michael Landon from I Was A Teenage Werewolf, anger issues etc. Girls hair styles are unmistakably from the 80s.
Still despite all that, it is fairly entertaining if you are willing to overlook the flaws. It is a 'who is the werewolf' mystery, getting solved by high school kids. I 'made' the werewolf very early just based on standard horror movie logic. But even after it became rather plain who it was, they were still wondering.

Although the decapitation shot is nice and funny. And mistaking the werewolf for a costume at the big Halloween party was a nice touch.
