A most unusual werewolf movie and not just because it is a musical. Not the usual singing and dancing kind but nicely done songs that appear out of nowhere. There is no overt werewolf action until well into the movie but hints appear frequently. And then... As I said most unusual.
If you want huge snarling murderous beasts and tons of gore, this movie is not for you. If you want well acted engaging performances underscoring a definitely different werewolf story, give it a try. Slow burn to be sure but very interesting character development along the way.
