Braved Gotterdammerung to get some shopping done. Speed limit around here is mostly 45 mph, which is IMO a very practical limit for these two lane twisty roads with lots of tree shrouded blind turns. I stick to that although some others do not. But today a big red Ford pickup driven by some young guy decided that the old timer in the Forester needed to go faster so he came up close and leaned on the horn a lot. Luckily my turnoff was not too far away so I just ignored him until then. Which led to my idea. Maybe someone should invent a device with a button on the dashboard that would turn on the brake lights without engaging the brakes. Wait until that tailgater gets really close and hit the button. www.youtube.com/watch?v=P73Z6291Pt8

The more obnoxious someone is behind me, the more careful I am about pegging the speed limit exactly.
