Be careful answering the door. If it looks like a really good werewolf costume, it might not be a costume. Or maybe you are the one ringing the bell. If so, be advised that grandma's are not like they used to be.

The press insists on calling this a blue moon, being the second full moon in a calendar month. That is incorrect. When there are four full moons in an astronomical season , the third full moon is the blue moon. Normally the third full moon of a season indicates that the next season will arrive soon. But when the solar/lunar circumstances are such that there is a fourth one, the third full moon is called 'false', or 'blue' in old Anglo-Saxon. And so boys and girls, if you want to be a successful werewolf, you have to know the real deal about the moon and not what the fur-challenged think.

Looked out the window. That beautiful full moon is rising up through the trees. Wait, how come I suddenly need a shave?

As per usual around here when anything cool happens in the sky - clouds.
That's okay. Friday morning going to work it looked friggin' awesome - near-full and bright with just enough clouds to give it a nice framing effect.
