I've been whiling away (probably too much) time on this site:

You can go in and point-and-click together a character. It's mainly aimed at players of DnD and the like, and ideally once you create a figure you will order it and they'll actually 3D print it (and paint it if you opt for that) but that part all costs money.
Never was a gamer in that sense but I do like noodling around with things like this and for free you can create pretty much as many different ones as you'd like.
And of course I'm mainly posting here because you can get werewolfy with it - Howling Wolf
