Good to see Wolfen getting some love. While not a werewolf film, it's still an interesting, stylish and intelligent movie.

I always liked wolfen. The idea of a pack of urban wolves appealed to me.

Yep...Wolfen was good. Loved those wolves. Me too. I haven't seen it for quite a long time, but even when watching it as a kid I remember thinking the Wolfen/Wolves were beautiful and amazing animals. I always rooted for them. Go on - eat the lousy humans ;D

That was a really interesting article. I also loved the You Tube bits which for some reason are finally playing on my works computer? It's been a while since i saw Eddie's transformation and it reminded me of how unconvinced i was with Karen White's fear as Eddie transforms.
I've not actually seen Wolfen as i was always put off by the fact that it wasn't actually werewolves but i think i'll catch it the next time it's hits tv or sky.
It was ace watching the transformation scene in AAWIL again since i've not seen it for a while. I showed it to people in the office and you should have seen the looks on their faces! They looked in more pain than he did! I just love that expression of terror on David's face as he looks at his hand getting longer and longer!

You mean there are actually people who have never before seen poor Mr Kessler's painful descent in to his first night of wolfy carnage?? I suppose I'm just biased having worshipped at the altar of An American Werewolf in London since it first came out.

One of my mates has never ever seen it and no one in my office has, but then there not really film buffs.

My girlfriends never seen it, I'm going to put it on next time we have a movie night. Aren't I romantic!

Sounds very romantic to me: The bond between friends that reaches beyond death. A love story between a patient and his nurse, Passionate leading man - admittedly it's more the "I want to eat your liver, and don't give a damn about the bloody ciantee" - but it's still passion. And, to top it off it's a cuddles film, one your putting on so you can put your arm around your girlfriend for most of the scenes

What could be more romantic? Boy meets girl - boy gets very hairy - boys eats lots of people - girl tries to help boy - boy gets shot and killed after girl declares her love for him.
A timeless tale of tragic love and loss....with a spot of brutal flesh rending and blood splattering.
I'm just an old softy :-)
