if anyone cares lol, i watched blood & chocolate again recently and i must admit i was delighted the second time i watched it after being disapointed at the first! i really dont know why this was but i was really into it the other night. i also caught big bad wolf last night, the acting from some of the cast was dreadful but the main charachters were ok, the movie was good as a whole but i really wish these films had bigger budgets! there are some hilarious scenes, i hope theres a sequel will add more soon

Maybe I'll give Blood and Chocolate another chance then, didn't like it the first time. And I totally agree about LadyHawke! Who's crazy idea was it to use that music?

I also quite like Blood & Chocolate - for the reasons why I originally thought I wouldn't. On first seeing the trailers I hated the idea of a tame PG-13 werewolf film and thought the whole idea of people becoming real wolves in a magical flash of light was just lame. But I don't now mind the lack of blood and gore in it as there are still some pretty good sequences and the transformations actually look pretty good and the wolves themselves are gorgeous. The script is a little weak and thin, and fans of the book seem to hate it for changing too much and leaving things out. Not having read the book, though, I thought it worked fine as a fairytale/Romeo & Juliet type thing and the director did a decent job with good photography and use of the locations. Oh, and Agnes Bruckner is kinda cute too.

I liked "Blood & Chocolate" the first and second time. I also recently re-watched "Bad Moon," and it seemed very short. Ditto "Hellboy: Blood & Iron." And now I'm watching "Catacombs," which is not a werewolf movie, but since the thread title involves latest viewings, there you go.

Such a shame too cos it's an ace movie, one of my favourites. I've not seen Hellboy: Blood and Iron yet but most of the animations i've seen do tend to be short anyway. Scooby Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf seemed to be over in a flash!

Considering how many movies these days are overlong, I think 'Bad Moon' being short works in it's favor. There's a lot of movies out lately that I think would've been a better if they were shorter.

True. Bad Moon had covered all the bases and ticked all the boxes before the ending. I guess anything else would just have been filler.

ok, i watched wild country the other night! it's ok for such a low budget but in places it's unbelievably dark! so you cant see whats going on, the plots ok. id give it's due for trying but it simply (like most werewolf films nowadays) lacked enough funds to make any sort of impact worth a watch the werewolf was interesting....not good but different, have a nice christmas everybody
