So, what are you most anticipated werewolf films? I'll put mine in order(roughly) 1. Freeborn 2. Blood and Chocolate 3. Camp Lycanthrope 4. Hour of Darkness 5. Wolf Man remake 6. Dog Soilders: Fresh Meat Though all the others in the 'Upcoming' section could very well have potential. I'm really looking forward to all of 'em

Well I don't give much for most upcoming wolf-pics. Especially the Wolf-Man remake has me worried. Just look at the way Universal handeled their previous remakes. This picture is bound to be another overbudget crap-fest, owing more to contemporary flicks like, American Werewolf, Wolf (good movies) and Van Hesling (baaad BAAAAAD). Curt Siodmak's origional werewolf epic is bound to be completely overlooked and the premise of the movie pushed into the back ground.
The movie I'm looking forward to is Paul Naschy's next Waldemar Daninsky classic, although there is no talk around that yet. But with his current popularity, and the failiuer of "Lycantropus", the man in bound to give his saga the endig it deserves. So let's all give Mr. Naschy two thumbs up and he might just give us the coolest Wereolf Movie in decades ;D ;D ;D

I dunno, I'm hoping against hope that the Wolf Man remake will be worthwhile, since they've got Andrew Kevin Walker writing the screenplay. I'll only despair if they fire him and hire Stephen Sommers instead. My most anticipated:
1. Freeborn 2. Wolf Man remake 3. Blood and Chocolate 4. Skinwalkers 5. Bubba

Really, really looking forward to Dog Soldiers: Fresh Meat. Didn't realise they were making a remake of the Wolf Man. Wonder how they will the do the werewolf; CGI or animatronics?

Knowing Universal the Wolf-Man will use CGI, like in "Van Helsing" and even if they use make-up I bet he's going to end up looking like the way the wolves did in "Van Helsing"
What they should do is something along the lines of "Wolf". Rick Baker as make-up man would mean heaven. He loves the classic horrors more than anything and he does a great job paying tribute to them (best example: Bela Lugosi in "Ed Wood")

No mention of "Big Bad Wolf," or has its title been changed? It's still listed on the Upcoming Movies page, i've just been on for a look. Is Full Moon Fever the one about werewolves living on the moon? Cos i'm looking forward to that one as well. In fact i'm looking forward to most of them, last werewolf movie i saw at pictures was Dog Soldiers, none of the more recent ones came to a cinema near me. I guess i just live in crap area!

sorry but i gotta take a step back. Stephen sommers is a good director; but he screws up his remakes so if anyone from universal studios is reading this;DON'T SCRAP YOUR CURRENT DIRECTOR.

In the highland forest, Captain Ryan (Liam Cunningham) and his Special Forces Unit, which includes Sergeant Walker, are spying on the squad of British Soldiers who have been set up as bait for a family of bloodthirsty werewolves. However, the werewolves attack the Special Forces Unit first. Ryan is badly injured and watches helplessly as his men are dragged screaming into the surrounding trees. Walker manages to escape the apparent slaughter, but unknown to him his unit's distress signal is picked up by a U.S. Command HQ on a nearby Isle. A small U.S. Unit, led by Sgt Martinez, are immediately sent in to discover what has happened to Ryan's Unit. They quickly find Ryan's demolished base camp and the apparent only survivor, Walker; but there are no signs of any dead bodies! What has happened to Ryan and the rest of his men? Now the Unit hear a distant gun-battle. Walker leads Martinez and her men on a race across the moonlit forest to rescue the original British Squad who are trapped in the remote farmhouse. However, a second pack of savage werewolves are in pursuit. The new pack is in fact the surviving members of Captain Ryan's SAS team now transformed into werewolves, but they have retained trace memories of their commando training. The new werewolves are faster, deadlier and smarter then the original Highland werewolves. These are true Dog Soldiers - and they are hungry for fresh meat. www.imdb.com/title/tt0435633/plotsummarywww.upcominghorrormovies.com/movies/dogsoldiers2.phphope this helps guy's and girl's.

So it looks as if Kevin McKidd, like Neil Marshall, has severed all connections with Dog Soldiers 2. It's not looking good.
At this stage, I really don't see the point in trying to link this in with the first movie. They should do like Predator 2 and have the same creatures but in a completely different setting.
