I am REALLY looking forward to 2 upcoming releases, one being the "100 Years of Horror" series (hosted by Christopher Lee) and the "El Retorno del Hombre-Lobo" DVD, a film written, directed and starring Paul Naschy. On the Naschy.com forum i read that there are going to be two versions of this last film, one is HD-DVD and one is a normal DVD release. I am not completely filled in on what HD-DVD is (High definition, I know) and i don't particulary care. What I am curious of is wheter HD-DVD is playable on a regular DVD player?! (I own a Pioneer DV-393, if that helps) The thing which gets me down is that the normal version will be released about 2/3 weeks after the HD version, which comes out 26th september. this means waiting even LONGER... inaccurate release dates suck...
