... featuring the man of steel himself? It had to happen sooner or later. From IMDb:
Welling Signs Up for 'Teen Wolf' New TV Superman Tom Welling has given the Teen Wolf film franchise a boost after reportedly signing on for a new movie. In the new Teen Wolf, a remake of Michael J. Fox's 1985 movie, the fun-loving werewolf of the title will be played by a female. Website DarkHorizons.com reports that Smallville star Welling will be part of the supporting cast of the new film.

Woo-woo! A girl werewolf...and one that isn't evil. Maybe "Blood & Chocolate" his inspired a new trend. And I assume Tom Welling will be the boyfriend.

I think Joss Whedon would be the perfect person to write this movie. Or maybe one of the other Buffy writers. The one advantage this will have over the original (other than special effects) is that we're now in post-Buffy times and know how to do really good supernatural high school comedy/horror.

Hmmm...a very potential idea, remaking "Teen Wolf". Since the oriogional wasn't that good, this might just work. Not sure about the Fe-wolf though.
Micheal J Fox cameo pleeeeeeeeease!

I think Joss is an excellent idea for both writer and director! His last movie Serenity was voted best sci-fi movie by some magazine, can't remember which one? SFX maybe?

Yeah, probably SFX. Any reader poll that includes Firefly or Serenity is going to be no contest thanks to the browncoat army. Joss fans are all nuts!
Wait a minute, I'm one of them ....

NO!! no no no no no no no!!! No remake, NO!!! Bad film makers!!! Why oh why are they so in love with doing remakes, again and again and again. Sequals YES! Prequals, YES! Remakes, NO!!!! If you've not guessed I don't like remakes especially of key films. Though I have to admit I do buy them *hangs head in shame* Now, I'm not saying teenwolf was a key film, but I really wish they'd stop this need to do remakes. Wickerman, the fog, hills have eyes, etc, etc. Just stop it!! Make sequals to them, or prequals, or whatever, but they need to stop doing remakes. ok, I feel better now

I'm in favour of remaking bad movies but not the ones that did really well the first time round. The Italian Job did not need a remake!

dawn of the dead did not need a remake. Any of john carpenters movies did not need remakes. The fly does not need a second remake.
