Interest, I wonder if this bears any relation to a movie called "Howl" that Jonathon Lemkin was meant to be directing. A redraft, maybe?

Heh, I found a brief mention of that other "Howl" in an IGN article dated 2003, in which Lemkin describes it as "a modern day time-traveling werewolf Western" and says he wrote it and sold it to Warner Bros., but nothing much happened after that. Man, I want to see it now.  |

I really hope they make it a dark and adult film - and not miss out the blood and savagry that goes along with werewolves to get a 15 or pg13 rating.

I'm guessing they will reduce the horror to get a lower rating, that way they can advertise to a wider audience. It's nearly always the same.
