The Werewolf (1956) and The Undying Monster (1942) are to be released in the US on that wonderfull invention they call the Digital Versatile Disc.

Sweet! I've got "The Werewolf" on tape somewhere and have "The Undying Monster" stuck on my DVR until I get figure out a good way to get stuff on it recorded onto disc.

don't DVDs do well in the UK??? Or do you mean cult releases of this sort...

don't DVDs do well in the UK??? Or do you mean cult releases of this sort... Cult releases. They seem to take forever. Although i did see a double DVD copy of the Wolf Man and The Werewolf of London yesterday but didn't have enough cash on me.

Yeah, same thing here. I think however your beter off then the Netherlands are, still...no beating the US.
This is quite weird because a lot of releases like British Hammer and Amicus productions, Spanish films like the Naschy catalogue, Italian Zombie flicks and even some obscure dutch cheapos seem to get a release first in the US, and most of the time only in the US. This ofcourse because the US has a much bigger market...but still.

There must be a decent market for such things in the UK, particularly the Hammer films as they were huge.
