I have been wondering for a while what the hell this whole karma thing means. I mean the one located under members name etc.

Oh i hadnt noticed that this forum had it Well its just to show if its a good member or not. If someone post some new info that you really ¨liked. Then give him a plus. If he spams, give him a minus.

Yep, it's related to the exalt / smite buttons. I just exalted you so you have a karma of +1. Hoorah for you!

Hmm, according to the settings all members should have them. Under the avatars on the left you should see something like:
Joined: Jul 2006 Gender: Male Posts: 170 Karma: 1 [ Exalt | Smite ]
The exalt / smite buttons effect the karma.

Well, tried it...it worked once and now the exalt/smite thing is gone already. odd. Must be Alan Davies at work...

Yeah I think it must be a rule that we can only exalt or smite once a day. They disappeared for me yesterday but are back now.
Or there's the Alan Davies theory.
