I'm enjoying the new Who now that I can watch it on SciFi and I'm looking forward to this ep. Looks fairly decent for a CGI TV show werewolf.

Just watched the first episode of the new season on BBC1. Pretty neat, David Tennant as the new doctor is a lot crazier than the last one. Not as crazy as he was in 'Harry Potter' though.

Well i'm not a fan of Dr Who but i did enjoy this episode.
The werewolf was quite good and i was in total agreement with Dr Who when he exclaimed "You're beautiful!" However Queen Victoria was getting on my nerves and i was almost disappointed when the werewolf didn't get her!

I agree, the werewolf should totally have wolfed down Queen Victoria. Screw the timeline, I want some wolf-on-queen action!
Now THERE's a sentence you won't read too often ...

I like this Dr Who episode too. I thought the wolf looked good, better then a lot you see in films. - though I thought it stretching the "alien ethos" that's around doctor who to just stick in the "it's a luna morphic alien" thing. Wanted a better reason behind it's existance. Also didn't like it when it turned to a glowing blue humanoid - it should have gone more the other way I think.
I did like how they brought in the continual recutting of the diamond, which was something that did happen in real life.

And the fact that it kinda ties in with the "Howling III" is cool, too.

Part of the 'mythology' introduced in Howling III involved Queen Victoria ordering the extermination of the werewolves. If you were the sort of person who connects stuff (like I am) you could see this Doctor Who episode as revealing why she issued those orders.

Um....he's a human-looking alien from Gallifrey called a Time Lord (the last one) who travels in a blue police box that's bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. Technically it's a TARDIS - Time and Relative Dimensions In Space. He pops around the universe and the time stream and usually ends up in the middle of some alien plot to do nastiness to others. He travels with human companions, in this case a London shop girl named Rose.
Think that covers the basics. The handy-dandy Google search box down at the bottom of the page can get you tons more info.
Watch the show if you get a chance. Pretty good CGI werewolf - one of the better ones in movies or TV, I think.
