Anyone remember the two werewolf episodes from US early 80's anthology series called Darkroom and the British Hammer House of Horror tv series? SPOILER ALERTThe Darkroom episode was called "The Bogeyman Will Get You " and starred a young Helen Hunt. A handsome stranger moves in to the local community and people start dissapearing. Helen Hunt's sister becomes convinced this guy is responsible and that he's a vampire as he is only ever seen at night. Anyway, stuff hapens and Helen Hunt's character becomes involved with him and finds out he isn't a vampire. The last scene is him revealing he is actually a werewolf and killing her. Storywise it is nothing new, but I remember enjoying it as I think the twist was quite well handled. www.imdb.com/title/tt0554715/The Hammer House of Horror episode is called "Children of the Full Moon" starring Diana Dors and Christopher Cazenove. Married couples car breaks down and they take refuge in an isolated country house where some odd children and their governess live. Haven't seen this for years and years, but liked it as a kid. Probably pants now. www.imdb.com/title/tt0087051/

Ooo didn't know about that 'Darkroom' episode. I did like the Hammer House of Horror one, had someone e-mail me about it not long ago as they saw it as a kid and couldn't remember what it was. www.werewolf-movies.com/movie.php?TVID=24

"Children of the Full Moon" sounds like its basicaly the same as "Children of the Corn" Nah, I've seen Children of the Corn. This is more about the wife becoming 'part of the family'. Her husband has to figure out what is happening to his new wife and also stop her returning to the children and the house after they've escaped back to civilsation. SPOILER ALERT I seem to remember the wife ending up getting pregnant and starting to eat lots of bloody raw meat. Needless to say, she gets back to the house with hubby in hot pursuit. I also recall a final scene with hubby trying to get to the house through the forrest and meeting a friendly looking woodsman who may not be all he seems. I'll have to try and get a hold of both these tv episodes being the werewolf geek that I am. I know the Hammer House of Horror box set is available on dvd. No idea about how to get Darkroom, though.

Just found Darkroom complete series on ebay and bidding for it. If I get it, I'll rip the episode and try and put it online somewhere with a link to download.

You can get the Hammer House of Horror collection from amazon.co.uk for £20.97 but given that i only want to see that one episode it's seems a bit expensive at the moment. I shall look out for it 2nd hand instead.
