This weeks halloween episode of Reaper featured a kind of werewolfish dog-monster-demon thing. For the most part it was only shown off-screen with sound effects and such, but they did also show the whole creature on-screen with CG.
For those who haven't watched Reaper it's a new comedy show about a guy who has to hunt down souls that have escaped from hell. It's pretty good, even if it did steal its premise from "Brimstone".

In the US it airs on The CW on Tuesday nights. Apparently it's going to start airing on E4 early next year, but I'm impatient so I just get it online.
I'd say it's the second best new show of the year after Pushing Daisies, which is supposed to be coming to ITV. Unfortunately both shows will soon be in a tight spot if the writers guild strike keeps up.

The facts are these....Pushing Daisies is fantastic ;D www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qikoHqugOsI have a major crush on lonely tourist Charlotte "Chuck" Charles (the gorgeous Anna Friel) and Digby is the cutest pooch around. Haven't seen Reaper yet. I've seen Moonlight, the vampire PI show, which is ok, but not great. Bit of an inferior cross between Forever Knight and Angel.

Heehee yeah Anna Friel is pretty awesome. So much talent on that show, it's scary.
I'd definitely recommend checking out Reaper. I haven't watched any Moonlight, the only other new show I've been watching is Journeyman which is so-so. I mainly only watch it cos it stars watsisname from Dog Soldiers.

I started watching Bloodties (vampire son of Henry the 8th, teams up with an ex-cop now PI to solve supernatural mysteries). But I wasn't keen on they feel to the series, so stopped watching it.

I've been watching Blood Ties on and off. It's ok - more fun than Moonlight, but nothing to get excited about. None of the cast, with the exception of the cute Gina Holden as Coreen, are that good. Sadly she's gone on to be Dale Arden in the utterly appalling new Flash Gordon show. I barely managed to sit through the pilot ep of that

I'm rather liking the Devil in it so far, mind you it's only been 2 episodes.
Been nice effects so far on the escaped souls, and next weeks bug lady looks nicely done too.

That's cos the Devil is Ray Wise, and he is awesome. Most people know him as Leland Palmer from Twin Peaks, such a great character!

You've not missed much yet werewolf.
Slight spoilers
Key points you pick up in the first two episodes, is that: The parents sold the kids soul to the devil. The devil came to collect on his 21st birthday. The devil has made him his bounty hunter to collect escaped souls. Escaped souls have powers, seems to be tied to their lives/punishments? The Devil has a sense of humour. Any place on earth that feels like hell, is a portal to hell (ie DMV - car licencing centre for us UKers) The "hero" gets a recepticle to recapture each soul - so far it has been a hand held hoover, and a remote controlled car (makes sense when you see how they're used). The devil doesn't tell him how to use the recepticles. His two friends are not the brightest of people in the world. He fancies a girl where he works (and she fancys him but he's too blind to notice). He gets a special ability (which changes from soul to soul) which helps him to track/find the soul. - ie when after the lightening guy, his "ability" was to recieve static shocks.
Anything I missed?
End spoilers.
