Saw this last night on Zone Horror. I was watching the Beast of Bray Road again and it was on straight afterwards.
It wasn't a bad film but the transformation scenes were so crap! They looked like parts of an early video game! And the two women dancing and snogging on the roof top went on for far two long. why couldn't the killing scenes have lasted that long instead?
What did everyone else think?

I think everything was crap about it. The script was total cliche. The acting was wood. The effects were horrible. The soft porn scenes werent any fun either. Still, its a movie you can watch and laugh about

You know i couldn't help but laugh at the two women dancing. They'd gotten the idea from that book on werewolves so what do they do? They paint one women blue and one brown and stick them some eyeliner on them! Scary eh!
I spent the whole scene praying the werewolf would eat them!

Dark Wolf is showing again on Zone Horror tomorrow night at 11... I'm gonna give it another go, see if it's as bad as I remember it. They're also showing the Howling 2 on July 28th! It's really hard to find in the UK so I'm actually looking forward to finally seeing it, no matter how crap it is.

werewolf- Yeah, I'm a big fan of Mr Lee. I wonder why Howling 2 and 5 are so hard to see in Britain?
weredog- You think that's bad, you should have seen their 'werewolf night'- a triple bill featuring Howling 7, Night Shadow (bad) and The Lycanthrope (one of the worst things I've ever seen, ever)

Man, i would love to have that channel It does show some really bad movies. Take last night for instance, there was nothing on any of the other channels so we opted for a movie called Fever Lake with Corey Haim. I think i'm gonna take up knitting!

The monster's actually pretty cute, though :-P. I should get one as a pet. Is "The Lycanthrope" that newer one? I think there might be two movies with that name.

Not seen Night Shadow yet, i shall look out for them repeating it on Zone Horror! Specially if the werewolf is cute, i thought the one at the end of Howling 4 was cute, i loved his ears!

There's a few movies called The Lycanthrope, this one is from the 90s and is set in the Amazon (looks more like the woods to me) and claims to be about global warming (not mentioned after the dull opening scrawl. The 'werewolf' is a guy who imagines himself to have a fuzzy face. I think the sun was CGI. BAD. Actually I thought the Howling 4 werewolf was cute too, it was the one in the bell tower with the big bat-ears right?
