[Werewolf]

Saw this on Sky one last night.

It's about a scientist who has discovered a way to animal eyes and optic nerves into other animals. After having successes with various monkeys etc they decide to try an animal to human transplant. Luckily for them a young man happens to get blinded saving another guy in an industrial accident and he becomes the lucky recipient of a pair of wolf eyes. However not long after the operation is completed the young man starts to have flashbacks of thw wolves life and begins to take on more and more wolk like characteristics.

Naturally these experiments are funded by the military and their less than impressed at the side effects and decided to put the young man down.

Meanwhile the young man has been running through the night with packs of dogs, visiting the local zoo to look at the wilderbeast and generally attacking anyone who annoys him. He's also shacked up with an native amercian girl who found the injured wolf that became his donor.

I'll not tell you what happens in the end as anyone with sky will be able to catch this movie again at some point. It's very low budget and not a brilliant movie but it covers some interesting themes.

When I saw the title for a moment I though you ment the sci-fi film Hybrid, set in a post nuke bunker with a monster runing round killing off a some survivors that find it.

Your one sounds much more interesting.

Yeah they usually show it a couple of times before moving them onto Sky Two!

A different kind of werewolf movie. No physical transformation but there are apparently physical changes like increased strength and such. Definite mental changes. In his head he is becoming a wolf. The end is intentionally ambiguous and IMO properly so. Pretty good movie.
