Just browsing around I stumbled across this: Vintage Horror Classics: Werewolves tinyurl.com/25rl59For $10 you get: Scream of the Wolf Moon of the Wolf Wolfman Werewolf in a Girl's Dormitory Werewolf of Washington Werewolf vs. Vampire Women I've got them all already but I thought it might be a good way for some here to expand their werewolf collection on the cheap.

Sounds really cool! One of those titles I'll probadly throw in when ordering something else. Notice there are more titles! Frankestein & Dracula! Yay!
Btw, where does it say which titles are included? When I open the link it redirects to amazon? It also says 1 disc. Probadly a two side disc.

iiiinteresting.... I don't own any of these. The ones I have seen were terrible of course... I'll probably buy this anyway, after all I only own 25 werewolf movies.

It's tempting to get a couple of those sets.
Will have to check up how much the english version is, for as hawkeyepierce says, would make a good filler on other orders.

25 is a decent number, especially if you only want to own decent werewolf movies. I own more than that, but only about a dozen of them actually reside with the rest of my DVD collection in the living room.
The rest are kept in a small cupboard upstairs so nobody will ever, ever know I paid good money for them. The cupboard is also locked, alarmed and has a dog guarding it. And a self-destruct mechanism.

would the Vintage Horror Classic release(s) be the kind of disc(s) that end up in that small cupboard upstairs which is locked, alarmed and has a dog guarding it and a self-destruct mechanism?

Maybe with the exception of "The Werewolf vs the Vampire Women" cos that's a classic. I haven't seen "Scream of the Wolf" but all the others were pretty baaaad ...

Haha, I'm glad everybody is suitably ashamed of their werewolf movies collection. Mine are all up their with my other movies, but as I own so many bad horror movies they don't stick out if you're not looking for them. Yes, originally I did just intend to get the good ones, but then I started to buy the 'ok' ones and it's going to be downhill from now on.... Haven't stooped to buying Howling sequels tho. Yet...

I used to have the howling sequals. Unfortunately I had to sell them to raise some cash when I was having money problems about 10 years ago My currently werewolf movie collection isn't very big. I don't know exactly how many, as my overall dvd collection has consumed my house, and with them all over the place it's hard to keep track of what I have and haven't got.

I don't think I have enough werewolf flicks, couple of Naschy's and the complete Universal series , all the more reason to buy this set.

Useless factoid of the day : "Scream of the Wolf" has an inexplicable writing credit for acclaimed novelist Richard Matheson, who wrote the book upon which the upcoming Will Smith blockbuster "I Am Legend" is based.
He also wrote "What Dreams May Come" and "Stir of Echoes". Hard to say why he also chose to write a werewolf B-movie in the seventies. Maybe he was hard up for cash.

Isn't "Scream of the Wolf" also a Dan Curtis production? You know, the "Dark Shadows" guy who also did the Jack Palace "Dracula" with subsequent "Frankenstein" & "Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde" follow ups.

Yeah, he directed it. It's actually sounding like it could be decent, but it's the only one in that collection that I haven't seen. I'll have to see if I can pick up a cheap copy somewhere.
