Quite a lot of comments I've read about "Werewolf : The Devil's Hound" have said that they only watched the first 10-30 minutes of the movie before turning it off, which seems odd to me because I quite enjoyed some aspects of the first half of the movie. As a low-budget independent movie there's really not much wrong with it until the final third, where it really starts to fall apart. Shame, really.
It does seem quite similar to "Big Bad Wolf" in that people are going to be polarised between hating it and thinking that it's sort-of-almost okay.

Yeah, I made it longer than that. I lost it when the goofy werewolf hunters or whatever showed up strictly as comic relief. It felt to me like the filmmakers got to that point and just decided "to heck wtih it."
"Big Bad Wolf" I liked.

Zone Horror's TV Guide lists that a movie called 'Lycan' is on next saturday night... I assume it's this one, not sure why the old title. I'll give it a watch whatever it is...

Just watched this. Before the last 10 minutes or so I was kind of enjoying it, it's rarely boring and quite well shot, the only main drawbacks being the terrible attempts at comedy and yet another werewolf that looks like a goddam yeti. Then it lost me completely at the end- what the hell was that about?

It's not that I didn't understand it... it's that it seemed like the film makers fell asleep and their six-year old children ran in and finished the movie...
