It's not that I didn't understand it... it's that it seemed like the film makers fell asleep and their six-year old children ran in and finished the movie... Okay? I guess i'll have to watch it to see what you guys are talking about.

***May Contain Spoilers***
Watched this movie last night and it wasn't one of the best ones i've seen but certainly not one of the worst. It had a solid enough story line even if it was a little boring to start with. It had no transformation scene in which i found very disapointing, the female werewolf had the ability to change at will and we never saw Kevin actually fully transform, he just got more facial hair, green eyes and fangs. It seemed to get odder towards the end, although the appearance of Kwan did brighten the movie for me. I almost pissed my pants laughing when he started playing the flute! The edning confused me slight too. So Kevin's mum is a werewolf hunter and kills the female, injects something into Kevin which miraculaously cures him and they all walk off into the night, despite the fact they all arrived in cars! Then there's Kevin dad's who gets abducted by Aliens at the very end after having spent the movie saying they don't exist! The most confusing element for me was when Kevin's movie shot that rocket launcher type weapon at her. Did that alert the aliens??? Cos it seemed like it bounced off that ship??? All very strange.

I did enjoy the song they played during the end credits. It was "Spit You Out" by Modern Day Zero. Only album i can find of theirs is called Coming Up for Air and irratatingly it doesn't have that song on it!

At times I found it pretty effective, especially given the obvious lack of budget. I think it was at it's best playing it straight, and the drastic shifts in tone were somewhat off putting. They certainly could have done worse.

They certainly could have done worse. I just watched it, and I totally agree. I think it would have been best served if the climactic fight scene had been "played straight," up to and including the death of the evil werewolf, and then they could have thrown some of the comedy in at the very end. But when she shot the werewolf with the laser, or whatever it was, and they showed the cartoon eyes popping out, I just shook my head. For most of the movie, they seemed to know when to be serious and when to throw in comedy, but the end was just a huge cluster of both and it was hard to stay engaged.

Yeah the cartyoon eyes made it look like a road runner cartoon. I was just waiting for the cliff edge to drop on her!

No thankfully it was over by that point. All we had to do was watch them walk away somewhere, despite the fact that they'd driven to the place in the first place. I'm guessing they decided to got to the pub but did the sensible thing of leaving the cars behind!
