I have seen many movies get bashed to hell. Most of them doesnt deserve it. Because the really bad movies aint well known enough, people jump on average movies and hail them as the worst piece of crap they have ever seen.
But once in a while a real gem... ahm, i mean piece of shit, apears. Wich really deserves all the shit people say about it.
BR2 is one of these rare movies. Almost rivaling howling 2 in shittyness.
For starters, the actors.
While i realise that most of these actors are very young and most likely havnt gone to acting school and should be given some slack. I wont give it. Cause many of the kids in the first movie were alot better actors.
The teacher in this movie tries his best to be super cool but it only becomes absurd. Takeshi Kitano, the extremely good oldschool japanese actor who portrayed the teacher in the first movie acted just like most teachers are in reality (except when he killed that chick). He didnt try to be cool. And thus was the coolest. The only scene i liked with this new teacher. Was because it was so damn bizarre. But i wont tell what it is as it happens very late in the movie.
I have never seen so much over acting in my whole life.
The kids are told that if they get more than 50 meters from their partner that they have gotten. Their heads will explode. But still as soon as something happens everyone just screams and runs off in different directions.
While there was alot of blood (wich is good =P ) Some of the scenes where people were shot looked very fake with the blood clearly being put in afterwards.
Everytime someone dies. They would always be lying in the arms of someone and giving a monologe. Apparently so we would feel sad for them. But why would we? No character had been given any back story. And most of them acted like assholes (the class being sent off in this movie was one for youth criminals and other failed people (ye thats what they said =P) ).
There is one scene in wich like a hundred soldiers are running up a hill fireing at 2 or 3 children and only one of them gets shot while all the soldiers are killed... WTF!!!
Well all in all i give this movie 2 out of a 100 stars.
And no. Most of the time it isnt even funny in a bad way even tho there are afew scenes that are. Most of the time its so bad that its bad.
If you dont mind getting spoiled (and you shouldnt cause you dont wanna watch the actual movie) Then here is the scene with the techer that i like. Its dubbed in spanish and no text but who cares =P oh, and you can skip the first half.
