Watched Wild Country last night, not bad at all, despite a tiny budget and a very short running time (1hr 5mins). It's probably not for everyone but I liked it. As with a lot of low budget horror movies largely set at night it's very dark in places and occasionally hard to tell what's going on. I actually liked the werewolf tho, despite thinking it was pig-ugly from the original stills.

Mine is still held up in the post system strikes we've been having. But I'm hoping it'll turn up any day now.

Bought this and watched it last night. Not a bad little movie. Nothing original at all, but made reasonably well for a no budget effort. A few good atmospheric bits and not a half decent cast. My big problem was the werewolves. I thought they looked terrible. Like a cross between a hairy pig and an anteater. Nothing wolflike about them at all. Note to horror film makers - if you have a rubbish monster don't show loads of them in full view especially in bright daylight. Use tight close ups, long shots, darkness & shadow, fleeting glimpses etc. I was shocked that Bob Keen, who worked on the awesome beasties in Dog Soldiers, did these daft looking things. Yikes!

Must have been the directors idea! I guess they just wanted something a little different.

I can't believe anyone involved in this film looked at the designs for the monsters and said "Yeah, that looks great. Lets do that!" Also, they kinda just amble around the place with their Dougle the dog shaggy hair flowing in the breeze. Terrifying.

Sounds like they based the design on the killer pig in Razorback!
