Or possibly a complete fraud! Or maybe just forgetful! www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article3740118.ecePersonally i see no reason to lie about his age because even to complete a marathon aged 94 is a hell of an achievement! He mentioned during his run that his wife had died in 1950's and that he had 17 kids but there's not records of either the wife's death or the kids. They think it may have been a publicity stunt invented by the plumbing firm he works for to encourage more trade. Max Clifford is their publicist. The Guiness Book of records has refused to put him in as they can't confim his age. But again a fabulous achievement for a guy in his 90's!

Only 94? RUMORS! Everyone's just jealous that he's 101 and running a marathon!
Or not.
So, if a 94-year-old running a marathon isn't a world record, how old is/was the current record holder?

The current recorder holder is a Greek runner named Dimitrion Yordanidis who completed the 1976 Athens Marathon aged 98 in a time of 7hours 33minutes. Buster's marathon is a hell of an achievement, just a shame he can't prove his age.

He'll just have to do it again in five years.
