In the early 2000s an apartment block in downtown Los Angeles was sealed.
When they went inside, they found no one. This is the "story" of what happened.
Within a locked room in the apartment block is an old woman, but not remotely sweet or kind. More ravaging and drooling - I think she's a zombie of somekind, at least that's what she looks like! maybe she's just having a bad hair day!!
So it looks to be somekind of people trapped in a building being killed off - maybe via zombies, or a disease, or raving old people!!

I have a prejudice against remakes, so will most likely skip this and watch the original (REC) instead. Comes out in UK cinemas fairly soon....

I'm not a huge fan of remakes as they never seem any better than the originals. Plus i take exception to them remaking a movie that was successful. Why don't they remake the movies that were awful? I mean for god's sake why remake the Italian Job or Halloween? I've not seen the Halloween remake yet but the but the Italian Job one was bloody awful!

That's the worst part... the original wasn't even released before they started remaking it! It's a spanish zombie movie called REC (recording) utilising the currently popular 'shaky hand-held cam' style, is supposed to be very good.
