I was doing a search on Amazon to remind myself which Waldemar Daninsky movie had recently been re-released ("Night of the Werewolf"), and I found that they're going to release a special edition of "Werewolf Shadow," a.k.a. "Werewolf vs the Vampire Women" on June 10.
I already have a cheap copy of it, but I might be interested in seeing this version, as I'm sure there will be the option of watching it with the original Spanish audio.

This DVD will be a remastered version of Anchor Bay's already excellent "Werewolf Shadow" DVD. What interests me most about this new release is that it also includes the US Drive-in edit "Werewolf vs the Vampire Woman". This version is in public domain, and has been released millions of times cheaply, so many of you probadly saw this one.
as for it being a "special editon"...except for the excellent remasters and Spanish Audio publiser BCI is providing in it's line of Naschy DVDs, little extras have so far been featured. recent ones did include exclusive newly recorded audio commentaries by Mr. Naschy himself! so who knows, BCI might have a trick up it's sleeve.
as for the movie itself, very cool! The first Naschy I ever saw infact. "Werewolf Shadow" is never dull. One of those movies which really seem to benifit from being made cheaply.
