I'm looking for everyone's favorite and/or scariest suspense scene from a Werewolf movie. Just for kicks.
Me, I can't remember the movies I watch well, but I would have to say one of th ebest was in 'Cursed' the elevator scene.
The entire audience KNOWS the werewolf is still there, and she is stupid enough to stick her head out. I swear i was screaming at my TV set, "You idiot! Anyone with brains should know it's still there!"

You know it's strange but i can't think of one off the top of my head! I'll wait to see what everyone else posts i think!
Welcome to the pack Sebiale!
I think it's a horror movie rule that you stick your head out from your hiding place when everything goes quiet. Of course the thing is going to be there still! I have to say though i hate it when people stick half their bodies out of lifts because i always think the thing is going to fall and that they'll end up chopped in half!

Yup. Anyone that's seen a few horrorfilms with lifts, would know better than to put any body part out of a lift. Either by in the lift or out of it. Partially always ends badly - and messily. hmm, favourite suspense moment . . . tricky . . . There were a number of moments in The Howling, like when it was stalking the woman in the office. or even at the start in the movie cubicle. In Gingersnaps I rather like the bit when they were hiding in the cupboard and the lad had a look outside to see if ginger was still there. The park scene in Wolfen is good too. I have noticed that most "suspense" scenes tend to be in films where the werewolf is a quadroped rather then a biped. At least that's how it feels as I'm sat here trying to think of scenes that were suspenceful, could just be I'm not remembering many

I've never really watched a suspence werewolf movie, or at least never one that came across to me like that. But í'm not really into suspense/scares anyway.

For me it was the scene on the moors in "American Werewolf".
Scared the bejesus out of me as a kid, though obviously when I watched it again years later it had less impact. But for the impact it had on me as a wee lad, it has to be my favourite.

The scene on the moors in AWIL, also from AWIL, the scene in the subway. In The Howling the scene in the cabin, where she cuts the werewolf's hand off, also the scene in the end where they're trying to escape. The scene in Bad Moon when he transforming was really good, until it turned all CGI.

Have not been to the site in awhile...wow, there are alot of new postings!
Being an avid outdoorsman, the opening scene from DS where the zipper on the tent rises ever so slowly and you know the 2 people in the tent are going to get torn apart! The last time we were camping (just a few weeks back), my German Shepherd alerted to something outside during the night and both my wife and I got startled and all I could think of was that scene! Don't get me wrong, he's no Thor, but a trained K9 will at least give me time to grab the .45 with the silver bullets!

I cannot afford silver bullets I have to make do with a silver ring and punch the werewolves on the nose that come snooping round my tent. Though I am experimenting with using a silver napkin holder on the end of a rolled up newspaper, whilst saying in a firm voice "NO! bad werewolf!"
