Just watched the remake of the Andromeda Strain over the weekend.
I must admit that I enjoyed it. I admit in parts the characters seemed to accept things a little too easily, but overall was a reasonable film.
I remember very little of the orginal, which may have helped me enjoy this version
, infact all I remember of the orginal is the scientists descent into the reserach facility, and the different coloured levels and decontamination processes.
I'd probably give it a 3/5 score. Something to watch, enjoy, then forget about. A Nice throw away bit of sci-fi
